Kingmi,
I see that a lot of people want Bush impeached, but I have always had the impression that the charges had to be something other than ''we don't like the guy.'' Is that not true? Is it now legal to impeach on the grounds of ''offensive personality?'' I guess that law was passed while I was out shopping for AK magazines. Those things have become hard to find.

Kimgmi,
Has anyone ever done a poll on what the American public thinks of polls? That's one I'd like to see. Then we could have another poll on what the American public thought of the pollsters polling the American public on pollsters. Then we could ask the American public whether we should get out of Viet Nam and see how many people polled said Definitely YES.
I can think of some other poll questions, but I won't go into that now.

Not according to the new Zogby poll
Zogby;
President Bush’s televised address to the nation produced no noticeable bounce in his approval numbers, with his job approval rating slipping a point from a week ago, to 43%, in the latest Zogby International poll. And, in a sign of continuing polarization, more than two-in-five voters (42%) say they would favor impeachment proceedings if it is found the President misled the nation about his reasons for going to war with Iraq.

"A typical." While I do not put a lot of value in polls, they sure can sway from one day to the next. I say we ask those boys and girls who are over there what they think! After today, I have a new energy regarding such matters.
The exit stragety was discussed prior to the end of offensive operations. The President said" Not one day before, and not one day after." Meaning, when the job is done! I don't know about you, but I believe him! Quite frankly if these insurgents do not get under control, it maybe time for another case of whop-ass! That would make the exit faster huh?

The fact that...
54% now believe we are winning the war on terrorism.
63% think Bush has a clear plan for the situation in Iraq.
70% believe that the right thing is to keep the troops in Iraq for the time being.
... merely reflects how weakly-held the beliefs of people (who participate in those sorts of polls) truly are.
