ANTIMATTER: And do you get the feeling that most of the time they don't
give a damn what you think, that their rudeness is actually an indication that they find your conversation somewhat or totally inconsequential, therefore in need of their input, which only tends to annoy you further?

Funny, Ariala, I am the same way most of the time. But every now and then
I say something to their obnoxious asses about their rudeness.  Depends on how annoyed I get, I guess (or how much that particular interruptor personally irritates me).

Point well made. I find these intrusive people very, annoying.

LOL, you tell em (us!) This happens at work all the time...
You see, most times people just interrupt my conversations and want to take over talking to the other person...I finally just learned to walk away and leave the others standing there.  It still irritates me though.
