Quirky, I see it this way. You use someone's name in headlines, then you generally see people run to that person's posts to look for a response to what you say. Then both of you get extra clicks. Shadow

I was actually going to answer---absolutely---to your question(s) there. Then I read the last two posts, and found them so funny that I had to write otherwise. I didn't click on the last one SPECIFICALLY because I was annoyed you used Ariala's name in it. I figured the second time was premeditated as opposed to a Quirk (okay, forgive me for the shameless play on words there), so I checked in.
Please go back to your regular writing. It is worth reading. In the meantime, that little break from reality with this for you was just pure fun...and sometimes has to be done.

Ariala never minds if you use her name, but I know she
would rather people use it when it's a positive post. I've done it a few times but I usually email her & ask her if it's okay. As far as how to get clicks, I have realized now that it depends on each writer, and what their topics are about. Everyone has a different interest, so if you write religion topics, usually they've got to be informative. If you write about relationships, they've got to be really funny or a really interesting take on the subject. I switched to journal recently because I found that I really enjoy writing odd observations about my day, and plus I have a weird sense of humor so I can fit it all into my posts ( I've also started posting shorter posts..easier to read, and easier for me to keep up with). Also, one way to keep a steady audience is to make sure and post each day.
