You bring up some good questions. I do know she works her booty off as a writer. I think the rankings reflect her drive and determination. Not only that, she takes the time to compliment others, get to know people as much as you can get to know someone on here, and she engages most every style of reader and writer here. Plus, she's throws one hell-uv-a party at her campsite...great entertainer, that little vixen.

Sometimes your mirror is warped like one of those at a carnival. It seems like you're quick to judge based solely on how you feel about a topic. The mirror you show is your interpretation only. But it's flawed because you don't have all the facts, nor do you know who you're talking to.

I get blocked because I hold up a mirror for other bloggers to look at
Some of them hate looking at that mirror, and they hate me for making them look. If it gets me blocked, I could really care less. I never have or ever will not tell it like it is. Even to the point of making people angry.
Just the way I am. I try to be funny sometimes, and make subtle jokes, but I can't control how others view it, or wether or not they will be pissed. It's a chance I'll take.

blackcat...it is funny...because unlike you.....some of us ARE
for ratings.
Based on the type of posts you write and the amount of posts you write everyday; anyone who thought you were about clicks and ranking would be totally off base.
The only two bloggers I know of that ARE here for clicks and ratiings are Ariala and myself. Well, we are the only ones who will admit to it anyways.

Her top spots aren't permanent, but those who want it better be ready to "go out and earn it". It's attainable, but it ain't easy. And it shouldn't be!

Wow, what a very nice post...thank you. Since writing isn't my
only way of making money (I design websites, too) I can't say I'm making $100,000 writing (or doing anything else! LOL) I'm not there yet...but maybe one day?
As for the #1 and #2 spots, I think one or both may be taken over soon...that kitty cat is motivated!
