Ariala,
Yeah, he does have a wild imagination, doesn't he?! That's why I love him!

What am I gonna do with you? Wait, don't answer that.

Numinous,
That IS extremely weird! I've always been either reclining or laying down! You snapped right back in because it scared your conscious mind. Wow. That's a trip! Thanks for sharing!

I think I've been having Out-of-Body experiences, too.
As a professional can you come and monitor this? They only happen when I'm lying in bed and I'm pretty sure you'll have to be naked in order for you to observe. Please bring appropriate recording equipment and some towels.

I've only had one OBE, I just kind of stepped out of my body as I was going down some stairs. My body stopped on one stair and the other part of me just kept on going down the stairs. When I realized I was out, I snapped back in right away. It was weird. :)

Sincerity,
I know! Flying dreams are cool. Well, as long as you're not falling!

LittleMsP,
Most of the time, we will find ourselves back into our own physical body. It is only on a rare occasion that our physical body is "stolen" from us while we're away from it. Hardly ever happens, but it does. If it does happen, it is difficult to fight the other lost soul out who's trying to occupy it. Most of the time, our angels have been there guarding and protecting it while we were "away."

I've always been scared that you won't find yourself back in your own body. Silly, but it's stopped me from ever consciously trying an OBE.

avant,
It is neat, but I was a bit weirded out by it the first few times it happened. I was young and didn't understand what was happening. I knew it had to be something more than a lucid dream cause it was too real. As I got older, I learned to actually hope they would happen!

that's neat
a lot of people would be frightened by such an event, or dismiss it.

Quirky,
I don't remember the first time I told her, but that time I told her when I was in her room and saw her paying bills, I remember saying, "Oh my God, Ma! Didn't you even sense me in the room? I saw you drop your pen on the floor!!" I guess she was pretty used to this kind of stuff with me by then. She just said, "Oh, wow, you saw that, huh? Cool!" (She sometimes found some of my weird stuff interesting.) I assume it was usually more "interesting" for her when others weren't present and she didn't have to find a way to explain me.

Factor,
Yes, however, my website is currently down and under construction. I am working on reorganizing according to categories. I'll have info on OBE's, Ghosts, ghost hunting, paranormal pics, clairvoyance, etc. Same as before, but more reader-friendly. Should be back up within the next 2 weeks. I hope!

HolyG,
If you're sure you were dreaming, you may have been having a lucid dream if you had control. If you were possibly only in the first stage(s) of sleep, it really may have been an OBE. They're pretty cool!

frankk, actually both.
As I said, I've had them since about 7 or 8 (that I can remember) and when I was about 16, I had so many that I decided to "train" myself to control them. I have only recently successfully induced them on my own.

Factor,
Mom's been asked that question many times. Oh, and if you did ever want to try to have an OBE, there are guided meditation tapes that will help you! It's cool. Most of the time, I love having them. It's really a free, euphoric feeling!

Do you still have them? I've never experienced that personally but have heard about it.
Is it something you can control or manipulate or does it just happen?

Wow, I can't imagine being your mom...
I'd always have to wonder what you were up to

It's great that you could share things like that with her. I think I'd like flying!
