tigerP,
I hear ya. Wish M would just go to a friggin barber! It's not that he's cheap or anything, I think it's just cause he's done it himself for so long and he works a million hours a week as it is. Poor guy probably doesn't even have the time!

Lucky for me
My husband is enough of a metro that he insists on nothing less than a professional cut. I too am ham handed with hair.

Isis,
Yep. In fact, it's already almost grown back so I don't feel so bad anymore!

Spitfire,
LOL!

Well at least he's only "short" a little bit of hair.

Nyuck nyuck.

JJ, well, I'm not a lesbian so
that might be why I can't do hair. Just a thought.

spiff,

You know what I found?  The best barbers in the world are lesbians.  Well...unless they're lesbians because of some sort of father/male-hostility problem.  Maybe I should try a gay male.  I sure never liked the ''Sarge'' types.  You're better off doing your own hair with sheep shears than going to Sarge.

I just don't know.  Such a big  decision.   JJ

Medusa,
Glad you liked it. Oh, and no need to thank me for visiting your blogs! I often do, I just haven't been able to comment on too many people lately. I try to but you know how it is sometimes! That post about colors was interesting!!

I know, Rach! I mean, we're not cosmoticians, right?
I shave animals for surgery, but hell, that never has to be "even" or perfect!

OBP,
It's quite obvious I am not too skilled in that kinda stuff! Actually, it already did start growing back, so it's barely noticable...now! hehe

Too funny! I hate when my husband asks me to help with his hair, too!

LOL, Young Miss! Few things are more frightening than
hearing someone wielding sharp objects or power clippers behind your back say something like "Oops.."

You say "Oops" when you've done something like accidentally push the plunger on a TNT charge, or opened the door to the outside rather than the bathroom on an airliner.

That's really funny, though! Poor guy was probably just overwhelmed by having the both of you double teaming him!

OMG..poor M. He has the both of you now plotting against him! LOL..

Seriously, somethings we aren't meant to do, we now know of one of yours. No need to worry, it will grow back. Besides, it isn't like he has to look at it!! LOL..

You're lucky M is so mellow....my husband - well, first of all it is very doubtful he would let me near his hair - but he would have gone into major anxiety, deep depression -there is a possibility police would have been called....his hair....he considers it a BFD..... your story reminds me...I went to a stylist one time who had palsy in his hands..it was wierd...could feel his hands shaking like crazy against my head..but he cut great...

Spiffy,

I think this whole matter is, shall we say, the epitome of the male/female communication problem.  In fact, you could say it's the ''crowning glory'' of female problem sublimation.  I'm sure you have heard of that famed couple Sampson and Delilah.  A male can give himself a haircut that is the qintessence of sex appeal and attractiveness, but he needs only a little nip on the back.

What happens?  The female goes into a frenzy.  ''Going out on a poon prowl honey?  Let me help.''  GRRRRonkKKK.  Snip, snip, snip.  VAroomba.  Viinnt, Viint.  ''Oh, a little here now;  WOW!!  You lookin' good honey.''

One glance in the mirror and the emasculated male sees what he looks like--Yul Brynner after a bout with a weed eater.  The poor devil puts on a hat and sneaks out the front door just to get the morning paper.

Don't jive me honey.  I got the picture long ago.  <---you get more of those than anyone.   JJ

Y'know, it's the 21st century and all now...
Maybe you both should discuss adding something to your lives, sort of a modern benefit kind of thing.  It's actually quite a marvel....t's called a barber.  They've got scissors and clippers and mirrors and everything, and I understand there's training involved.
