Perhaps I don't understand you, but I certainly like to see what you bring out in the commenting readers. They read in such a shallow, slanted way that I am truly amazed. To me, for the most part, they have no idea what is going on outside of their own prejudgements. They read you, it stirs up what is already in their heads, and they spew out rubbish that is nothing more than their own distortions of what you have said. There are some who seem to have thought in their minds, but far too few.
I could be in misunderstanding, but I don't think so. In any case, I purely enjoy seeing the lack of reason that is displayed in your comment area. It is a little frightening, but the truth often is.
As far as the sinking of GlenB's blog, it isn't the white woman who has brought him down. The Captain has shot the bottom of his own boat full of holes. From what I have seen of him he is conceited, arrogant, nasty mannered, and extremely racist. He can't even manage a credible air of pomposity.

soldiers and I had what we called the "Breakfast of Champions." It consisted of chugging down half-a-cup of straight scotch, bourbon or whiskey and smoking a big-fat "joint" -- and then, we would go out and fight for our country.

a little over 10 years of service. That indicates to me that you fucked up somewhere. Most soldiers who reach the 10-year point go on to complete their 20.

religious views. I'm sorry your perception of me might change, but I have no power or control over that. Only you do.
As for Glenn...I haven't read him very often, but he's always been kind to me when he's read me. I used to read him way back when he started, and click on him once in a while now. Politics aren't my thing, so I just don't read too many of such posts. Nothing against him, you or anyone else writing politics.

was an example of a white woman using a powerful weapon to bring down a black man. And the weapon that she used was, the prompting of "her own men" to carry out the killing.

When I was eleven years old, I watched the original black and white version one Saturday afternoon with my mother. I was terribly upset when they killed him.
"That's what you get when you mess around with a white woman," she said matter of factly.
Technically, it wasn't the white woman that killed him. It was the white guys that had a problem with him. Still, this was the first thing I thought of when I heard a new version would hit theaters in November.
