Bettyboop,
Well, at least the old guy had an interesting life, it seems! But, who was he to be able to name those streets?

All the streets in my neighborhood are named after women.
I met the guy who named them. He said they were all 'girlfriends'. I had been around this womanizing old geezer to believe him. Apparently he worked for the city around 30 years ago when the subdivision was built. He died about a year ago. Although he was at least 40 years older than me, he tried getting me to go out with him as well. At least he never got so old that he lost interest.

blackcat,
Well, it just seems logical that it would be the same address! Or, like, if one is 24 1/2 and the other is 24 1/2, maybe the address combined would become 49. What?

I don't think they use 1/2's around here. They may use A or B though...
LOL... I loved your return comment about.... wouldn't the other house be 1/2 also?... same address. ROFL

Spitfire.................
My brother has two houses on the same property - he lives at 210 and when my mother moved into his other house, her number became 210 1/2 - they are not duplexes. The other house didn't have a number before she moved into it. I can tell you her's is half as big as his. lol

avant,
So, is the other half of the duplex 1/2, too? Wouldn't that be the same address? (kidding) And about those street names, that's kinda creepy, don't you think?

i think the 1/2 denotes a duplex, where someone else lives in the other half of your home. anyway, there's a neighborhood in Texas, in San Marcos, where a busload of children were killed when a train hit their school bus. the neighborhood kids' names are on the streets around the area.
