my 1st comment; re: eccentricities & 4 Gatsby's sake, please help me!
quirkyalone: i am also enthusiastically eccentric (although i think in my income bracket its called 'mentally ill'); not to be a bother, but i read your blog on rookies(egads, i hope that was yours..) & 1 of my 'oddities' is dyslexia..not necessarily the whole juxtaposing letters etcetc, although that does occasionally occur (more aphasic, if anything, sometimes, even worse, freudian), but simple instructions--this is my thing, common sense solutions, etc..i'd read 'help', but i know it would not. this entire site takes 4 granted things beyond my ken. how do i..i don't even know what 2 ask.. i just attempted 2 post a blog..wrote a title & description.. puppies are everywhere..must go..please help!

I've told you some of mine before...
but I left out one. Sometimes when choosing which plate, cup, pen, or other item to use, I often pick the one that matches the clothes I am wearing at the time. Just call me looney - it's okay.

- After I wash my hands in a public restroom, I cannot leave said restroom until every little drip-drop of water is removed from my hands (this includes under my rings).
- When there are various foods on my plate, each cannot touch, and I must eat all of one type of food before moving on to the next.
- I absolutely cannot fall asleep in any position other than flat on my stomach.
- No matter how hot the night is, I must be covered head to toe with a sheet or blanket, otherwise I won't be able to sleep.

Great list. You definitely are a match for your chosen name

, especially with the corn cob quirk. That's a beauty. I identified with the potato chip one, too. Used to make potato chip sandwiches while camping. Really good

That corn ceremony sounds serious...
I have so many weird things going on, it's hard to pinpoint them all but here goes -
I can't fall asleep unless I am lying on my right side and there has to be absolute silence. I have to say my prayers or I won't fall asleep. I'll lie awake for hours wondering why I can't sleep and then
...
I eat cream filled biscuit one at a time - always.
The stranger habits I have, I think I'll keep to myself.

that's a good point--you live with yours so they seem "normal" but when you see others, it's something new, so it seems "eccentric. lol.
