Your post reminds me that I should be making some sort of a fire plan for our office.
I gather that that girl still has not been found. I'm of the same opinion. I don't think she will be found.

Kathu, one of the things that I hated most of all about being a nurse and working in a hospital or a healthcare center was the fire drills. It is so-o-o-o-o-o nerve-wracking when the firedoors start banging shut and the fire alarm is blasting and the patients who can't get out of the beds get so scared. Once, a long time ago, I had to go down to the basement in this big hospital to the morgue office (I was a little leery about that anyway). Just as I got there a fire alarm went off and all of the fire doors banged shut. It changed the total appearance of the place. After the announcement of the all clear, it takes some time to re-set the fire doors but you can go through them. It was like a bad dream. I kept opening fire doors and going through but there were so many, I got lost and thought I would never get back to where I was supposed to be.

Isn't it kind of ironic that they do a drill but don't tell you where you're supposed to go? Isn't that the point??
