The sad thing, FLIGHTPATH, is that children are killed in every war,
no matter their age, which was Mr. Carter's point. Someone's child dies every time someone gets killed in a war. If we analyzed that one fact for what it truly means, learn to feel it for the loss that it is, there would be an end to war.

Yes, Vane, and a good man. Much too good to have been president. Look at
his presidency. Ineffective at best. Unfortunately, to be a good president, you must be willing to get your hands a little dirty. Of course, this is not to be confused with Dubya, who is rolling around in a mud-wallow.
