P.O
The poem WAS cute. But, your wit shined through in this blog entry when you said
please enjoy Edward Gorey's delightful poem. When I read you saying this, I smiled at the computer.

Unfortunately, my mother was involved...
from the very beginning. So, anonymity was never an option. It's why I've tended to focus my posts "outward" (as opposed to "inward").
Nevertheless, she still feels I bring her up way too much.

That's the problem with sharing blog readings with family, relatives, personal friends, neighbors etc. That's why I prefer remaining anonymous.

Thanks.
I'm in the process of emailing it to my mother right now. Hopefully, she has calmed down enough to read it objectively. We had quite the public screaming match over the film's message, last night.
Despite the fact, we both (ironically enough) consider it BY FAR the best movie of the year.

What a delightful poem and a clever take on the alphabet. I especially enjoyed the commentary of you and your mother! Sandi

I'll post my review ...
the second my mother leaves for work in the morning. Btw, she saw the movie today ... and, I must say, our discussion afterwards got a little "heated".
Of course, you must understand that wild animals are the primary thrust of my mother's entire existance. In fact, in high school, she was voted "Most likely to be eaten by something".

I'm shocked that so many people here...
were unfamiliar with Edward Gorey's work. (Not to mention, the wondrous world of Emerald Nuts!) Oh, well! I suppose I'll be explaining who Ignignokt is ... any day now.

I was wondering when you were going to post this. I'm throughly surprised that most people have never heard of Edward Gorey. Tis a shame...until now...because you have introduced them...=P
