Go to AM I ALL ALONE

- Go to School's in on Monday, but the bus is out!
My sister recently moved
and is now finding herself in a similar situation to yours. However, she did manage to find other kids around the new neighborhood and has developed a carpool with these parents. Maybe you could do the same thing??

You should take something that is really interesting to listen to on the journey

Cassandra...no public transportation here, so
unless I pay for a taxi...(that must cost a lot though for 40 minutes!)

SilverMoon7,
Unfortunately, no others to carpool with until I am halfway there...so in a pinch, I could if they have room. They are already carpooling with someone who lives near them.

It does make it difficult when there are no buses. My son relies on public transport to get to and from school. It is in the other direction from my work and I simply couldn't run him back and forth.

That's awful.
Maybe you can arrange a carpool with other parents in the area? Yikes.

Is it safe for the kids to cycle? But 40 minutes is a very long way from home to do even that.
Ben.

Tissi Blake,
I always hated those dreadful car lines....too many fumes and too much wasted time!

Since you'll be even more pressed for time.
you better start planning right away.

I can relate to the madness
I take and pick up my kids daily. Sometimes it seems most of my day is spent in a car line. Good luck to you and do carve out some time for yourself

Orginal
Make sure to take time for yourself with all this craziness...even if it's just a long hot bath after everyone is asleep.
