Miranda got stuck not just stuck with the cooking, but cooking very un-camp-like food! Very in character with your characters! and oh! nothing beats a pair of perfectly fitting hiking boots! Lucky Miranda.

at least it was desert, and she may well have scoffed one or two pieces
of dark sweet chocolate as she was stirring the pot.

Miranda was having
problems keeping up with the rest of the group. She was tired and stuff, then she got stuck with the cooking!!!!

Very nice
I'm tired just reading about the adventure, but definitely could get the picture in my mind along the way. I envy those that can write passages, and have plots. Love good books, just never have enough time to read things other than Hardy Boys, Harry Potter...chapter books for kids.
Keep it up...this is very well done.

M--they ate pretty good for camping. Nicely done, poetic,
