Snails ARE NASTY!! Luckily, that's one creature I haven't had to deal with yet. But, if I do, I assure you I'll be buying some beer and placing it out on the patio.

As kids, we used to pour salt on snails and watch them evaporate. LOL

Spitfire, yeah, I grew up eating snails, urchins and even (forgive me),
horse meat in Casablanca...can you all see why I'm a vegetarian now? LOL

Whacky, this is pretty funny. I really enjoyed reading it. I haven't seen any snails here, a few slugs and an overabundance of toadstools, but no snails. Maybe they are all at someone else's beer party.

Whacky, snails are all over my yard, too.
I never thought of getting them drunk or "dead drunk." I think my tree frogs eat them, but I'm not sure. Oh, and Ariala, you used to eat snails? Damn, I ate flies and gnats but only when they flew into my mouth. Had to chew and swallow them. You ate snails on purpose! Weirdo.
