You know, thus far I like al your names.
Kris is the easiest one for a lip diddling idiot like me to say, though...

Thank you......I'm glad my dilema came across.  And I'm glad you like Krisles; I've gotten so used to it now it's only adding to my confusion!  Plus the Kris......

You certainly would be the one to know the rhythm on the "da dum"! I was just thinking of you....Master and Commander just finished....you were right about the music...I'd forgotten.  That whole movie is sooooo good.  Anyway, I'm glad you understand my dilema's on my name.....it's almost surreal sometimes.  And my last name now is short, doesn't really go with it all; actually, and this is my sick humor at work, should have told me something from the start.  Anyway, I'm getting closer to figuring it out....

Krisles
Great tale about the evolution of your name.  And with the "da dum, da dum" rhythm, I'm willing to bet the farm it sounds very pleasing to the ear  I'm a big fan of how some words/names can flow so nicely together.  Take the words "Shenandoah River," for example.  Wow, those words together please me.   A name is a very personal thing.  I can't picture myself losing my own, so I can see why most women quickly revert back to their names after a divorce, or why more are opting not to take their husband's name.  Interesting story

It sure felt right when I picked it for my name on another site...it was taken on Blogit, so I had to pick as close as I could get....and I have two butterfly tats on my back.  If I ever do change my name for real, it may be to that....I'm going to save your comment - I appreciate the thoughts....thank you.

Wow! Nine names! That's a lot to keep up with....and I think I'd like "Lover", too.....I had a boyfried who used to call me that - I'd forgotten about that until I read your comment.....I guess all those names sure kept you flexible, huh?!

Thanks for reading.....I know people who have legally changed their names...I don't know what I'll end up doing with mine...it's really a big deal, a name is soooo important.

I think Chrysalis is perfect
as your name. A crysalis is a container for change, a place for transformation and growing wings, the interval between being and becoming. One day you'll fly free, bloom in the air, and then your name will become your first name, the second will be... something you find beautiful.

Krisles,
Boy, can I relate! I can count nine different variations of my name (first and middle) that I'm called and still answer too, not to mention nicknames. Without a doubt though, "Lover", the nickname my mom gave me as a baby and still calls me by, is my favorite.

nice post

my brother was given a nickname by my Mother when he was an infant and grew up being called that. fter he was in college he legally changed his real name to his nickname.
