Maybe she'll provide you
an interview WHILE climbing a mountain. "Put on your hiking boots, MayB. We'll chat about whatever you want while having a pleasant hike up the side of a cliff!" LOL

Yes, Internet research definitely has its good points and not-so-good points. It looks like with personal research, you scored big points. I should remember that, next time. Good luck with the interview.

If I had to climb a mountain in order to get a job I think I would look for another job!

I have done this too. It can give you the edge, I believe, knowing your target.
Googling is also good for finding out the plagiarizers. We unearthed an A level student this way.

there is so much info on the web and like you say, some of it is hopelessly out of date or inaccurate.

Sounds like you're planning on stepping out and up,
maybe looking to raise some hell too. I note the formerly quiet. You go girl.

BTW, you're good. Looking up the info on that lady. I don't think I'd have thought of doing that.

If you had her address you could look into her yard with Terraserver
(Talk about creepy computer nerd stuff!?)
Just after I got onto the Internet, I looked around, saw a lot, learned a lot, then emailed an authority.
I got an email back the next evening! (WHOOHOO! DING DING DING DING!). I wore that poor guy out, and it all ended unsatisfactorally. But it taught me that often the best half of a website is the "Contact Us" at the very bottom.

You're right
The Web is a great tool to let you know what you will be facing. You have a lot of great information to go in with. I find when I go in with my business personality that asks a lot of questions, everyone is at ease. What makes a good reporter, friend, etc., is a person who is interested in what the other person does. It breaks the ice easily. I don't do it as a tool, but if I notice a piece of artwork in an office, a photo, etc., I'll comment on it. It's there for a reason. It means something to the person and it makes you relate as human beings as opposed to that sort of cold interview.

Love yer handle, May B.
Thanks for the delightful interlude, you have a nice waya bout you and are well on your way as a writer. I began too late in life to ever be able to call it my career but it's alot of fun just the same. I have been able to do a few books and have them published. It's fun seeing your name on the book shelves in stores and libraries. Good luck to you and keep the words flowing. zarrothepaun alpha I'm the nice one.
