Ariel, that is excellent writing
it reads like poetry in prose.I came here to figure out what exactly you were upto, to not be visiting me any more, but if you are writing like this, I understand why you only have time for yourself:)
It was such a joy to read this early in the morning:)

This is an absolute joy to read
Ariel, this reads like Keats to open and then more.
I love that 'dogs, dogs and dogs; dogs howling...' That repetition breaking all the rules is beauteous in its sharpness. That paragraph is perfect. Reminds of the fog-this-fog-that opening to Bleak House - I think - Dickens for definite.
Slay - say...poetry with the cats too.
'Wryly, shyly, slyly' Beautiful. Wonderful. Perfect.
'Roiling, moiling, toiling'
Ariel, this is absolutely exquisite. I am in awe of this.
It reads like a poem though. I'd like to see it broken up into lines. I'd keep the prose form too though. I'd have both in my portfolio if this were mine.
Ariel, this is the most beautiful thing I've seen here for a long while.
