Hey! We have refineries...

...right here in Northwest Indiana!

I'm sure that things will turn out fine no matter what Senator ChickenLittle and her merry elves might be proclaiming!

I'm not sure I understand this, but I'll give it a shot . . .

Unless I'm mistaken, the strategic reserves are in the southwestern San Joaquin Valley west of Bakersfield, California. If refineries out there are functioning, there should be no problem like what you've mentioned; the only issue would be the added load on the refinieries.

I wrote you a comment back on your prior post, but my computer went down and it was lost.

What I had said to you in that comment was the next big blame------the high price of gas!

Everyone pissing and moaning about the oil, had to give the green light to the libs to free up the stock pile. Made them very happy for a few seconds until they realized it had to be refined!

Okay so we know there is no little switch to turn on a refinery, once it is in outage. Many procedures go into this process. The fear, panic (actually we put a nice name on it, demand) and soon the supply is low. Wait, no refinery to process, hurricane, human condition, it must be Bush's fault! Doesn't matter that the supply will catch up to the demand, if it doesn't happen over night, he is guilty! Afterall, there are surburb's to fill up without any wait!

So my challenge to you would prove you are already a step ahead of me, how did you know the question?
