I shan't create a special blog, for various reasons, but I shall post the letters and if possible the photos on my blog.
Many thanks for your comment and suggestion

This is beautiful!!! Before I even saw where you had compared...
...this to Flanders Field, this is what came to my mind when I saw this beautiful photo!
I came over here from a comment you made to suggest that you create a special blog and start posting the correspondence between your brother and mother--including, also, at least some of the photos--because this would make a heartopening exhibit of life during World War II.
Blessings!

Just for a moment...
look for the light in the darkness
that never had the chance to shine...
Imagine what could have been,
if only things had been different...
If you decide to take this journey,
bring plenty of tissue,
because
chances are good
that you'll need it...

Ariel, frightening isn't it? Generations are not being taught how to use the word myriad. I love the word myriad because I can use it without "a" and "of". ie
"Myriad flowers will bloom then".
I enjoyed this post the other day when I was going through my quiet phase

ariel--You don't need to post a pic. Your writing says it all.
Excellent descriptions!
