Welcome, Flamethrower, Numinous and AJ!
Glad to have you on board, thanks for reading.
Scoop and Numinous, thank you for mentioning the disclaimer that I forgot to include. I failed to mention that I don't know who was surveyed or what the angle behind it was, the usual questions I ask about polls. But given the source of the poll, the angle is suspect and the result on this question was very likely a disappointment. Given how eagerly the liberals cite any polls that support their agenda, it's ironic that they question a poll from a mainstream source that doesn't back them up, no?
AJ, I love that banner or whatever you want to call it! One Democrat in particular has earned my respect in all this: Former Clinton chief of staff Leon Panetta has called it right down the middle, criticizing all levels of government.

Shrillary!!! LOL That's really rich!!!
Actually, I see a lot of good in Shrillary--but, if I vote Democrat next time around, it's definitely going to be for common sense Evan Bayh who works in cooperation with both parties so well that it's hard to tell if he's a Democrat or a Republican!
And that's how I like the ones I elect to be!

It is not hard to manufacture a poll result; all you have to do is ask a few people who agree with you what they think. Hell, THEY don't even have to do that. DO you know who they asked? They sure as hell didn't ask me.

Thats is what I love about people and polls
when the poll shows a person in the good light polls, "Supporters will say polls are great when it shows that same person down in the rankings defenders will say, "Who believes polls anyway?" I guess it just depends on which side of the fence you are standing.

Liberals have nothing to say and they have not seen any weaker link in this administration, hence they are putting their hyminal back on the pulpit with: Bush,Bush all over. They even want to transform the whole affair into a race palaver, but it has not worked out and will never work.
