Paddymelons are real. They are very cute marsupials. Paddymelon Close exists in the land of Miranda Sweet's adventures - which at times can be a lot like home.

MsVision.......This is a great, winding story....
Just like the long hike this band of merry travelers are on. I'm not sure where you're taking the reader, but I, for one, am enjoying the walk.

Ahem--these guys sound like they have no business being in the woods, if you know what I mean.

Nicely told story though!!

Your writing usually jumps along at lightning speed, but the last few posts seem to have slowed down a bit, dwelling a little on the surroundings or characters' reactions to each other. I like that.

Your post brings back memories
of the group outings I used to take as a young adult. I was usually the one to be found, bottom down, legs up, having lost my balanced and slipped between two rocks.

MsVision, tussocks of button grass and trails through the bog is the sort of place I'm heading as soon as I get things under control here. I have my walking stick ready. Its one my Dad carved for himself years ago and always used in his walks. Its tipped in non-skid rubber and just right for an older lady out in nature.
