A&B

In my story, I tried to endow my characters with the contemproray attitudes that I have learned as a result of research for articles on Spanish history, and I believe that they are accurately portrayed.

Although I don't explicitly state it, the priests referred to are Inquisitors, whose behaviour and attitudes would be exactly as stated.

Thank  you for your continuing interest in my work. It's very gratifying!

It maybe a fallacy about the inherited sins of the forefathers but it sure seems this way.

In 50 ... 100 years, Europe will be a mainly Muslim area, because it's they who make up the bulk of the immigrants.

And hey! Ain't life gonna be great for the non-Muslims, living under sharia law?

I honestly begin to believe that the personal and social mores and values of Europeans and British are so corrupted that, like the Roman Empire, they hardly deserve to exist.

Eurpope lacks the guts to even defend itself, and is so inward looking that it's unaware of what's going on in the world ; and Britain? A sink of corruption and depravity. And that's no exaggeration

In France the government in a bid to stem the steady decline in birth is giving some incentives to women, but those using it are not natives. I mean white french women. The foreigners are the beneficiaries. It is still not solving the problem of declining birth in France or in europe wide.

I've always thought that if anyone came to our era from the past, they'd be amazed at how little has changed socially. Like the book says, the poor are ever with you, for instance.

The Fountain is the prologue to my novel " The Tapestry of Love" but it still needs a lot of editing, and I haven't found a publisher for it. Nor, I fear, am I likely to. But I might ry and get it published as an ebook

Hi, my son has permitted me to read your new post and I did enjoy it just like the two preceeding ones. As I read it, it seems that what you are bringing up is as ancient as the world, but almost similar to what happens today in some societies and religions. The family honour factor. From reading it, it is becoming too apperant at least to me, that ,we need to find out more about our past, for we shall discover many similarities with our modern world with it many seemingly intractable problems. At the end will you produce a novel from it? Well done, I am waiting for the next post to devour it like a hungry lion.

Most European populations will cease to exist in a few years, for their birth rate is too low. Abortion is a major factor in this ... a " woman's problem"? How unutterably stupid!

I'll see if I can find out about that other book.

Once again, you have striken the balance, I think abortion has become a societal problem today. If you see the number of women committing abortion in France today according to a recent report it is just mind worrying. However some women groups have jumped on it and are traverstising things. Women have the right to do as they feel with their bodies but when million get indulged in it like a sport it is a problem. Especially now that we are in a crisis of population.

You are round and round correct about the EU and Zapatero who is really a typical Socialist who follows the direction of the wind, good or bad doesn't care, provided it helps his ambitions. Currently, I am preparing to write a book showing the contradictions of the EU. But I can assure you that it is very difficult for the contradictions are legion. Perhaps some excepts will feature in this blog . Meanwhile Any help in pointing out some about the EU is most welcome. To conclude, thank you very very much for reading my articles. Long they are isn't it. Thank you once again.

As is indicated obliquely in the first sentence, this story is a fable, and to remove it more from mundane, everyday modernity, I deliberately chose an archaic and outmoded style.

Even if one were qualified to do so, it would be incomprehensible to a modern reader, had it been written in contemporary language, so my style is a compromise.

Thank you for dropping by

This language is stilted and obsolete, but you make it flow.  This actually is quite charming and entertaining.  I like it!  Hemlocker
