I love old pictures like that. I find the little details, such as the cars in the background, and the signs on the street, absolutely fascinating.

After having seen your picture
on your site, I would have sworn that the woman on the left was your mother. Just how close were all of these people.

Whacky...but, but, but I didn't cheat. Well, not really.
I got creative with my answers.
Would you be so kind as to share your secret on posting a picture within the comments section? I've tried cut and past...no success. I've tried minimizing photos then uploading them...takes forever. Could you help me, please...please...please?
I love this photo. I often attend a flea market called THIRD SUNDAY MARKET where peddlers set up booths and sell antiques and collectibles. There's always someone with old photos to sell. Some date back to the early 1900's. Some are black and whites from WWII. I puchases alot of photos of strangers, because the photographer has captured spirits that are intriguing to my mind's eye. The photo of your mother and "other mother" would be one I'd hang on my wall with the others. Thanks for sharing!

Yes you are the winner if you don't count Masky who sort of cheated. Only three people guessed right so I'm giving them a few extra clicks.
