Power Outages
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of days/nights when we had power outages. One night my mom made stuffed bell peppers and we all played by candlelight--Trivial Pursuit or some such game. The outages are nice in that you are forced to make your fun rather than have it handed to you through a glass tube. Those types of fun provide the strongest memories.

Cherish those days with your Grandma. You brought back a lot of memories for me. I wish Gramma was still around for me to visit. Of course, she'd be like 90, but I miss her.
