You go on with your works. It is the soldier and his family that is making the difference not Cindy Sashmoooo! God bless you.

I tend to refuse to say quit when it matters to me. Those are
MY soldiers, each and everyone of them. I ahve always been fairly involved, this year with Carl gone I just had more time to follow certain dreams.

I honestly doubt I would ever actually do radio as a job, it was alot of fun. But it did remind me that I have dreams and they are worth fighting for.

THANK YOU!!! I know I have my whiney days and I irritate even myself with it. I made a choice to marry a soldier, nobody forced me so whining about something that I was well aware of when I married him just seems ridiculous and self serving to me.
Yes, I have an incredibly busy calendar and it's my way of maintaining my sanity and also feeling OK about myself. My husband puts his butt on the line every single day the least I can do is try and make it easier for him and all of those who are willing to risk their lives for my freedom.

I bet that was totally exciting
being interviewed on the radio!! I've noticed before when reading your blog that you appear to have a very busy calendar. This probably helps you cope with Carl being away from you.
In a conversation about some of the bloggers on Blogit, I mentioned, "Oh, and there's this one woman who blogs about her life--the life of a woman whose husband is in Iraq."
The reply, "Oh, let me guess. . , she's whining about how horrible the war is."
My reply, "No. She goes around at these events and stuff and represents support for our troups in a positive manner."
The reply, "Good for her. Now, that's refreshing."

i have a theory
education is overrated. when it comes to doing a good job at what you do, having a good head on your soldiers and having motivation to do the right thing are, much more important. most things you really need to know about a job are learned through experience anyway, no matter what you're doing. except like brain surgery and stuff. you have to hit the books for that.
obviously you have some good sense. why else would you be a loyal reader of the adventures of mike? people automatically respect you more if you have good taste.

Hey, MilitaryWife, how have you been?
I see you're busy as ever. I haven't known you very long, but to me you seem to be a woman who can do about anything she sets her mind to do. I would have never doubted your capabilties. All you needed was more self-confidence and I see you've acquired that. Now you've got it all - you go, girl! Wish I could have heard that interview.
God bless.

I think when your motives are positive and from the heart, things go much smoother than we sometimes think. You sound like me, I'm my worst critic...but have learned to always keep my motives in check, when I do, I know things will be fine.
So cool, radio interview...one of my dream jobs would be radio. I hate the sound of my voice, but always hear that I could do voiceovers for those 900 numbers. I don't buy it, I think they've just lost their minds. I know I could clear a room if I sing, so I doubt they are being totally honest with me.
Keep up the good work...Life sounds good.

Oddly enough I wasn't nervous at all. I was a wreck the night before but from the minute I walked into the booth it all felt entirely natural.
