Recidivism.
Like I've said, why leave? You'd only come back anyhow. You might as well stick around and just write for the pleasure of it all. I think we all go through dips...and those dips seem to come and go with the breeze. Fortunately, they don't last forever, and some dips only last for a few hours while others last for substantially longer periods. Whenever I find a prolonged dip in my enthusiasm, I focus my attention on something external to writing and then return to Blogit when I feel better.
For me, riding my bike or doing some home repairs serve as a great distraction from the juvenile backbiting that sometimes plagues Blogit.

ariel--You'll notice after a longer time here, that we are all emotional
souls here. I think that's why we write. It just so happens that this is YOUR weak time of year. I'm not sure when mine is, but I do threaten to quit around two or three times a year!
Glad to see that you are staying. We truly would miss you.
