- Go to Scotland; The most violent country in the developed world?
fwmystic
It has? that seems hard to believe, fymystic, when you compare Texas with areas such as the Middle East or Rome or in fact any part of Europe. Most interesting.

Jacenta
Thank you Jacenta. It is a beautiful country - but then every country is in its own magical way.

Perhpas you'e right, FactorFiction. I would have thought that a large city in the States, like Chicago or New York would have a higher murder rate than Scotland - after all, Scotland only has 5 million citizens. I can't think of any Finnish movies either, but every film (in French) finishes with 'fin.'

Taps
Ach Taps. At least the bodies would be Scots wearing the kilt.

Mac, I'd like to visit there--even if there are a lot of bodies lying in the heather.

I'll buy lots and lots of t-shirts with 'Canada' printed on them and go back and flaunt them.

I don't think guns are as commonplace up her, ginnie. I haven't seen the west coast yet -apart from flying over it- and I have only seen a smidgin of Ontario. I should have moved here many years ago methinks, either that or I'd better live for a loooooong time to fit everything in

Well Mac...
...the Highlands and the west coast of Canada are two of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. And I'm hoping that guns aren't quite as ubiquitous up yonder as they are here.

Your Dad has a shoebox full of knives?? He must be one sharp dude, or was that a pointless remark?

I'll happily pack my bags Mac!
6 months in Scotland; 6 months in Canada...sounds blissful to me! Of course I'm living in a place where guns rule!
