I didn't mean to get "into" this show either...
but I have. I also watched the Cybil Shepard (sp?) made for TV movie about Martha's life in prison...it was pretty funny. I've heard how evil Martha is but I've been really surprised at how nice she has been on the show...I really don't think she has been that nasty.

I don't agree with the uppity woman as the only thing she did
I admire her tenacity, style, etc. I am not crazy about some other stuff I watched with her. I don't think she was as clean and put upon as she made it look. That she helped prisoners is great, but THAT'S her real forte: taking something that looks like a problem and making it okay to live with. She's resilient. I didn't like what the position she put the stock guy in. He was helping her.

Well, IMO, Martha's
real crime was being an "Uppity Woman." And of that I'm sure she was guilty. Rhiannon1

Hi Terp
Long time no read (I guess that's what to say).
That we would all forget Martha Stewart and everything that has to do with her may be the only good reason for allowing aliens (or the government) to erase everybody's memory. I'm kidding of course but perhaps we should put her and 'Donny' in a board room together and seal it shut - just a thought :).

I'm not knocking Martha, I swear....
This was just a tongue in cheek thing. The Big Martha thing stuck in my mind and the dominoes just start falling. I really just thought it was a funny thought. I heard she was tough...but so is any business owner. No one needs to defend her behavior on the show. I was just being goofy.

Terp,
I caught the show last week and I guess it was okay. I did laugh when she made a comment about being in prison, but I also wondered how "Martha Stewart-like" her atmosphere really was. She actually taught inmates how to make clothing, sew, cook, create, etc. Now, I'm no fan of hers, but I thought that was kinda cool. I suppose it's better than being the bitch of Birtha. hehe

YOu would have had to see the entire episode
I had honestly seen less whine in a liquor store. Actually considering the circumstances, she was nice. LOL!
