Majroj, yes I read Benzinha's post on that. They are forgotten. Now they wish to declare the village covered by mud a mass grave

The earthquake and its aftermath are just horrible. A whole generation... how devastating is that.

MayB
This whole thing is so devastaing.  This past 12 months has been so full of loss I am praying next year will be less heart wrenching.

Like Tapsel, I feel that there's no comment that can be made to

encompass what should be said for the things mentioned here.

Also, they are being publicized.

And Americans of  note or wealth are being involved.

Benzinha mentioned that Hurricane Stan has kicked the Central American nations and south Mexico in the knees, too; hundred missing and presumed buried in mud and entire villages possibly being declared mass gravesites. Do we hear about it as we did Rita? Nope.

Helpfully, we have already sent help towards Pakistan, as have their neighbors, including India. Best wishes and luck to them!

MayB, I almost didn't leave a comment for I surely don't know what to say.

It's so hard sometimes to understand why so much is happening all at once. WIthin a years time, there have been the tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, and now this. It's overwhelmingly sad to think of all the families that have been torn apart by these tradgedies.

This is very sad indeed
and the way that you have expressed yourself in this post makes it even more real.

damn

so sad but true

Who the fuck are you to apologize for my pain, bitch I ain't hurt

How can I be when I've gained a way to go to my bank account

And be like woe that's me, while you're like woe that's me at your

Hurt, but as far as me for what it's worth, no shit, does it make you

Feel good to hit it right on the head, a say what's already been said,

Does it make you feel like you have a leg to stand on, what's next you

Telling me I need to move on, well if it is please don't

What a horrendous sadness..
...the world is in such a sad state of affairs...lives lost in seconds. The idea of a whole generation is unfathomable. So many tears.

What a striking way of bringing out what took place in Pakistan. It is really painful.

From Mr Clinton came to power and left his administration donated $1.1 bilion to Africa while this current administration has donated $3.5 billion for the whole of Africa and another amount that I have forgotten the figure but found in my article to sub-saharan africa and this administration is carrying out a number of humaniterian action in the Horn of Africa.

This is one grief I cannot fathom surviving..

Thoughts of innocent, young lives ended so suddenly and horribly are the flow of my tears in disaster and war, accidents, abuse. This latest tragedy has stolen more of our most precious light. Powerful post May.

Like you, MayB, I read the heading and couldn't take it in; in fact I am still working up to reading it.

Yes, it is very hard to think of the great loss these families are enduring.

MayB...when I heard the news of the quake, my mind wandered to some of
the same places as yours.  I counted my blessings.
