Mark and I...
...went to one of his concerts back in 1976.
He came to Market Square Arena.
After the concert (which was wonderful and intimate in spite of being in such a HUGE place), we decided to go down to the area where the dressing rooms were to try to meet him.
We saw him coming down the hall, and called out, "Hi!"
And he called out, "Hi!" right back at us.
And, then...
These MSA jerks shoved him into his dressing room and then escorted us out of there--as if he were a three year old child and we were a couple of child-molesters, kidnappers, or terrorists!
That was bad jive!
Ciao!

I love John Denver's work...
I saw him in concert a couple of times before he died and just loved listening to his music. I still do. In fact, now I may just have to put on a CD with Rocky Mountain High.

Thanks for sharing the beauty and history! Here are...
...some lyrics from the late, great John Denver to go with your piece!
Hugs!
