Dear Benzinha,
You are reminding me of the Buddha's, "Joyful participation in the sorrows of the world."  My hat's off to you for I can only take so much sorrow into my heart before I have to change the channel, so to speak.

Benzhina

Your plea is so sad. People all over the world are suffering. Yet there are those who are doing nothing but spending their time complaining about a government who was late, when in fact that was not the truth. We are blessed in this country that we can help our own in trouble. No one had to die in New Orleans, if the Mayor had taken our Federal Government's offer that I heard made a day before the hurricane hit. We put those who survived in hotels, cruise ships, while those in other countries all over the world are dying where they stand. God help them. We, our country, should be ashamed to be yelling about our government (whichever party) is in office. We should draw closer to one another, help one another.

The Bible tells of all of this and much worse is to come. The bad part is the rain falls on the good and the bad. Your generosity is to be commended. May you and those you send your angles be blessed with hope that goes all over the world. Bless you.

Benzinha..
It is very depressing to watch these tradgedies take place all around us and there is such a helpless feeling when you know that even if you do all that you can.. it still will not be enough.

Benzhina, Chaos and devastation seems to be everywhere with new incidents every single day.  So hard to take it all in.   So hard not to be sad and depressed.   So hard to know how to be of help in every direction at the same time.

Very touching post...the devastation is all around us and many feel
helpless, despite the help they give...it just never seems enough, you know?
