Hey there, happy belated birthday. By the way if you needed a naked soldier shoulda called. My wife charges 75 cents an hour for my strip show. Thats includes the DCU uniform complete with boonie cap and matching thong! LOL happy birthday.

on some level I think it's worse than that. I honestly think this young man got involved with her to have someone back here to take care of his stuff. She has fought his creditors when they violated the laws regarding deployed soldiers, moved his belonging from his apt to a storage unit and now to a new apt. She took care of his taxes, pays his bills, etc... it's actually a shame. She has put her heart into taking care of him and he treats her like this.

You are amazing! My husband goes out of town for a week and I go nuts. He has always wanted to be in the military, but they won't take him (he's color blind), despite many (and I mean MANY), efforts. Shortly after we were married, he tried again (much to my chagrin), and once again, he failed the color test. My point is, that were it not for that small flaw in an otherwise perfect man, I would be right there with you. My best wishes to you and your husband. And a belated happy birthday.

Well, Happy Birthday to you, MW. Sounds like you had a nice one, right down to Carl's phone call. I agree with you 100 percent about your friend's fiance, too. Talk is cheap. Chances are good he won't change--or make any lasting improvements. She is probably better off without him. I'm also delighted to hear that Carl is due home before Christmas. Yay for you!

For some reason, that reminds me of a run I made recently.
There was a bridal shower, and this 90 something year old lady had fallen and broken her hip. I was being stared at by more than one of these ladies as I questioned her.
Then one of them spoke up. 'We thought you were a stripper.' I blushed and said, 'I'm sorry to have disappointed you.' We all laughed.
Needless to say, I got her and got the hell out of there.
