Hi, Ciel...
I read your advice to Lizzy Morrow, and thought I'd stop by. I enjoyed this post! I'll be back. Thanks! ~LB~ xo

And you are right, all healing is self-healing.
As a healer and reader, all I can do is provide you with information with which you can activate your inner and innate healing ability. Time is part of it. So is awareness, especially self-awareness.
Healing of physical problems can be aided by spiritual healing-- there is, in my experience, always an energy factor in health and ailment. But an ailment that has manifested physically should be addressed also, and primarily, on its own terms: through physical, medical, dietary, etc. means. Healing of the soul is not always a healing for the body.
For the record, I do readings and healings via phone as well as in person-- anyone interested can e-mail me for information about what kind of readings I do, rates, etc.

Thanks, Jomei...
Readers and channelers, like everyone else, have their own perceptual filters, and even those of us with the training to shift a lot of that out of the way are still sometimes affected by those filters we have not yet become aware of. Also, readers tend to see in your reading the energies that match some of their own. This is why it is unwise to ever take everything a reader tells you as fact, and why it is always important to check what you're hearing against the wisdom of your own heart.
The fact is, even if a reader is right-on, if it isn't the issue you are focussed on, or for some reason you don't want to look at it at the moment, then you aren't going to find that information useful. No matter, when you are ready for it, it will present itself again.
I had an issue with my teachers, that they offered me what they knew it would do me good to know. But it would have been better if they had addressed the questions I was asking, things I knew I wanted to know, like wanting specific pieces for a particular part of the puzzle. They were trying to show me a different way to solve the puzzle. It was a good way, and I learned a lot about it. But in the end, I still had some of the same questions, and the insights to realize that I really had needed those answered just as much as I'd thought in the beginning.

Really enjoyed this post
I like the style of your writing, it's honest and buoyant. I'm a bit skeptical too sometimes. I have been to see healers and channelers and have learned some techniques myself. I don't believe any experience has been in vain. However when I was completely frank with myself, I had to contend that most of them didn't really get at the main problem I was looking to live with more comfortably. To tell the truth, I think people are a little haphazard when they call themselves channelers and healers sometimes. For me, healing is self-healing and one of the most crucial ingredients isn't 'special powers'; it is simply Time. 'Man helps, Nature cures.'

Thanks, Quirky-- I'll be interested to hear what you arrive at...
We seem to be living near enough to one another in this Universe, to share a lot of Puzzle pieces, and recognize some of the same scenery!

The harder we try, the behinder we get...
Once again, evidence suggests that the key to enlightenment has little to do with effort and sweat: "There is no 'try!' There is only 'do' or 'do not.' " (Yoda)
Sann, once again, you have inspired my next item...

Ciel -
Great post. I was just thinking about the same thing. There is a stream of consciousness that I can access. When I do, wonderful things appear on my computer screen as I type - things that are beyond me. I've often wondered about it, and why that it is sometimes easy to access and sometimes not. I've decided that it is always easy to access. I make it hard. But I love it when it happens.
