The pic doesn't really do justice to the imposing building, it's so grand and elegant and powerful. I love it, we shall definitely return

Thank you for your comment. I wish you could too, it's so gorgeous. Still, you can console yourself by making, and eating the cake for which I've just posted the recipe. Enjoy!

Thank you for your comment
I never knew that Kansas City was modelled on, and twinned with, Seville. Must be nice!

How intriguing. Never heard that one.
Incidentally when is Odysseus going to sail in you in search of the Golden Fleece?
Very upmarket and classical in here, isn't it? what with you two, and Aria, and Ariel, does raise the tone a bit, don't you think?

Ariel, I like both versions; they are quite different.
The second made me think of a song by Jacques Brel where the gas meter reader is in love with the lady of the house.
Thanks for the 'french widow' line.

Many thanks. One can never tell really ; sometimes a mere few hours, and others maybe for days. But at least one can always be sure that the sun will come out some time. Not like in Britain!
It was so wonderful to sit in the hot sun outside our local bar today, and .. well, just enjoy, and people watch
