Yes, I think there's a darn good chance for war . . .
no matter how close Mars passes by in its orbit - or not. Now I'm NOT so sure about the UFOs. I'll have to monitor those Germans to see if they've observed more UFO activity.

Yeah, I'm sure meteor showers would be obliterated by smog.

Smoggy blog!
Smog is also good for creating wonderful sunsets and red moons when it is low on the horizon! Isn't November also the season for the Leonid meteor shower? If so, I've got to get out of Toronto to see it! While Mars might be all right in light pollution, meteors are much better without it.
