Really original take on Halloween!
I think it's a fun holiday, too, but I'd never thought of it the way you have in comparison with other holidays.
Of course, we've always kept our other holidays sensibly low-keyed, too, so that the real spirit of each one shines through and isn't trapped in a bunch of commercialization and obligation.
All holidays are fun when our modern culture doesn't turn them into headaches!
