Thank you for your comment. Ariadne's is indeed a powerful, moving story that lends itself to endless speculation, infinite variations. I hope you'll like the poem that I'll post tomorrow.

I've also written a long, two part, humorous version ; which just goes to show how versatile her story is I think a thousand years from now, people will still be fascinated with her story
