- Go to Soldiers Coming Home To No Job, No Unemployment And It's Legal
Joe
At this point I want something to happen FAST! Those soldiers are coming home in a month and they are coming home to NOTHING. I am also in contact with the State Rep and the Congressman in hopes that something will change.

thank you. I agree about taking away the tax cuts. I'd like to see the funding go to help all of those who find themselves seeking work when something like this happens. The retired that I do alot of work with was also effected as many others in a very small community. This company pulling out is effecting that community so terribly and most have having trouble finding work. It's a shame.

Big business does have the freedom to ship away U.S. jobs
but, why should they be rewarded for such blatant unpatriotism in the form of massive tax cuts? I say rescind those and use the money to fund services and programs for the brave soldiers who serve this country so faithfully. My two cents. This is outrageous Military Wife; kudos to you for getting the word out.

I would think your congressman would be a better person to contact (over the government) as this problem surely exists throughout the country.

MW, you are so right about this.........
Please excuse me, I skimmed by ya and didn't really have time to read so I just said "hi" with good intentions of coming back later to read.
Well, this is later and you have every right to be dishearted. Even though, I can't find fault with private industry for moving to Mexico, or to the government for having its rules, as discouraging as they are. I hate to see Carl in this situation and I don't know what I can say to make you feel better, except to just be happy he comes home whole and that he's healthy enough to tough it out till he finds employment. Just be supportive and encourage him along the way. We were in the same dilema when my husband retired and it wasn't easy. Granted, we had his retirement, as meager as it was and hardly enough for a family of four, but we made it and you will too.
I'm sorry if this isn't what you want to hear.

I have been on the phone with her office today. If that doesn't fix something, I am going to do some work on this and it will be my next column for the paper. Someday's I love the power of the press! Thanks so much!

Hi Military Wife...Strong writing...great points...
You ought to send this post to the governor. It's a darn shame. The military deserves better than this from our country..Don't even get me started.

I'm with you. I contacted the Gov's Office and talked to a nice lady who is making calls...let's see if I still like her when she calls me back.

I'm getting to the point where I think all politicians deserve to be shot,
along with the spineless shite-birds moving jobs out of the country because it's cheaper.
