T, and, ya know what? I really regret that ya never got
the pleasure to meet my Sweet Pony-Dog in person. You would have LOVED her more than you know. Damn, I miss my girl.

I didn't want to mention Stonc crying..
I didn't want to upset you. But, that was sad, touching, and totally amazing. Very insightful the way both doggies reacted to on the screen. It's funny, I don't know if you can see it, but I see some things in her face in the way Linny looks too. It was a nice that we could all be together in that moment.

Thanks, T. She was a beautiful Pony, wasn't she?
I'm so glad you got to see her on video in all her sweet beauty and glory. What a treasure she was. It was even weird for me to witness Stonci cry (she hardly NEVER cries for any reason) the way she did that day when watching Brittany on the TV screen. Honestly, she's
never reacted to seeing Britt like that until
that one day. Hmmm....Maybe dogs really do have more insight than we give them credit for.

I was glad I got to be there with you on this day...
....and see Linny jump up and touch Brit on the TV with her snoot. That was amazing to watch. She was a pretty pony.

I'm sorry, Symphony. Really I am.
Just know whatever decision you make will be the best one for Charlie. It's never easy. Just "listen" to Charlie and you'll know when it's time.

I am crying here because it will be my Charlie's turn soon....she is very ill, although to look at her you would not think it...

Witchflower,
I'm sorry about your Bogey and how much you still miss him. Some hurts from a loss just never seem to go away but lessen with time.

Lovely poem
It only gets a little better with time, I'm sorry to say. I still miss my dog, Bogey, and he's been gone for 8 years. I still get teary sometimes when I think or talk about the last day with him. It's good to share, though, and I hope you have less hurt as time goes by.

When they're gone
...sometimes it feels like they just left and sometimes it seems a whole empty forever.
Even with new ones in the house that need your love too. You will see your lovely dog again.

Oh, Masky. I'm really sorry. But,
try to at least take comfort in the fact that you gave your dog 12 (or maybe more) years of happiness and vise versa. That's a good, long life for a larger breed dog.

I can't believe it's been a whole year either. Thanks posting that. I know it won't be too long before the old Dog Mountain's time comes. I'm just trying to keep an eye on him and listen. So far he's still happy, but those bloos tests don't lie. I'm glad you had a good friends with you on such a sad anniversary.
