It's wonderful that you have such closeness with your parents. I don't think I've ever been to the show with my Dad and it's certainly been many years since I'd been with my Mom. I like to think it's mostly because our tastes in movies vary so much. But we don't connect in much of any other way either besides holidays and other family gatherings.

That's great for you!! I did some stage acting in high school (after being badgered into it by the drama teacher).
I'd like to do some more acting, but not for television...Thanks for sharing this story. God bless.
