I had an interesting experience a few months ago
While in a state of deep relaxation, I became aware of a spiritual connection or perhaps it was my guide's presence. The wisdom and concern emanating from this entity was astounding; so powerful, yet when I've attempted to write in depth about it, I can't for some reason. Maybe because I knew I was supposed to record their name on paper during the "visit" but I didn't. Now I can't remember it and I feel frustrated and annoyed with myself. I know it begins with R...I suck at following directions, lol.
Hopefully I'll get another chance soon.

I think it takes a rare adn brave person to be willing to step out, spiritually and metaphorically speaking, in such a way and reach out to others in a way that so many regard as complete nonsense. It's safer being a student, than it is being a teacher.

I believe that intention and desire are more than half the battle. There are some books you can get, to help you communicate with your guide(s), though.

Quirks,
This is all very interesting stuff. My spirit guide, Jillian, always stays about 2 to 3 feet behind me and to the right whenever I'm having an OBE. I don't get her sometimes. But, she's always there protecting and guiding me, so I still feel safe. It would be nice if she made it easier to communicate with her, though. I've communicated more clearly with freakin' ghosts than her sometimes!!
