I say... It's preposterous!!!
Yes, I am outraged how these freeloaders take advantage of the generosity of the system by declaring their disability and hardship in order to avoid a good 12-hours of highly stressful, underpaid, mandatory kissing a** working conditions. The ungrateful lazy low class seems to have the advantage in all societies. Mel

the government here isn't strong in being humane or having a particularly wider view of what society is about.... people are increasingly only being valued according to their "economic contribution"

I'm really not sure what to make of this post. The situation for the disabled in Australia sounds just about as bad (if not worse) than it is here in America. Disgusting!!
For myself, I'm not able to work for reasons other than my Cerebral Palsy...But if I could, I'd be more than happy to tell my government where to shove their useless assistance...I'll bet you can already guess where, can't you?....
Anyway, it's good to read you again...Hope you're doing okay today.
