I hope you don't think I was writing this post to you. It was inspired by you, but not directed to you. It was just my statement. And I'm glad you enjoy the tone of my posts. I try to keep a few key concepts bubbling thoughout. I enjoy yours as well. You have a wonderful flow to your writing that helps me to learn.

San-Compassionate goes a long way. When you can extend your hand without reservation is a blessing. You're on earth for a purpose.

I get your drift. It's a nice thought to think that if our initial impulse is compassion, our thoughts are illuminated and we know what to do. Btw, I always enjoy the compassionate tone in your writings.

I don't think you have to be a highly developed person to say what I said. I'm certainly not and I said it. But I also think there are all kinds of ways one can be compassionate. As an example, if someone shows up at your door that you don't know and asks for a place to stay, you may not feel comfortable allowing them to stay with you. But you could take them to a shelter, or pay for a few days at the local Super 8. Or give them your tent to utilize. Or be even more creative than that. That's the beauty of compassion. While it opens our hearts it also lights our creative fire.

It takes a highly developed person to make the statemtents you make. I cannot say that I would say yes if certain people showed up at our home unexpectedly and wanted things that were unreasonable.
Me personally? It's much easier for me not to judge when I'm by myself and not having to watch out for others' welfare.
