Thanks MayB
Letting go of my anger and frustration certainly allowed me to let go of their hold over me. I go for long walks across The Fens and that allows me to cleanse and reveal, once again, the important things in life - i.e. my family waiting for my safe return.

Thanks for your comment. I agree that no wolves are going to be allowed to blow the walls of our house down - there will always be a happy ending if only we can see it as that.

I recall feeling like this a few years ago
so I went to talk to someone, like a coach, who helped me figure out what mattered and not to allow people at work so much power in my life. It helped

Blogging has been that for me as well.
No matter how many big bad wolves may be out there, you have a wonderful family life - the essential key to sanity. Not too many people can say the same.

Thank you. I really appreciate it. In fact today has been entirely better so it seems to be working already.

Thanks. Blogging is a great comfort to me, not just because I get such great measures of support and genuinely helpful advice but because I can also 'write out' my anguish. After I'd done this yesterday I felt much, much better.

My wish is for a healing, my friend. Keep your chin up and know that it is near.

malcolm--
I don't know what your problems are at work, but you don't have to just endure them.  There are many way to impact a harrassing workplace in a positive way.  There are many books in print about how to deal with difficult people and dysfunctional work environments.
