My Portable Furnace is still working, though it's so cold the unit runs constantly. It's about 5 degrees out tonight.
I'm thinking that the trip home with it must have temporarily messed up the thermostat. Thank God, it's fine now.
I think I'll pass on South Africa, thank you.

Good to hear you've got heat.
If you're still battling with the thermostat, why not visit South Africa for Christmas. Expected temperature today is 35 degrees centigrade.
