Good On Yer!

Take it from one who doesn't even own a TV now - it's a healthy choice!

Funny you should mention that, DamonLeigh...
I just switched the TV off before I read your comment, for precisely the reason you suggest! I wanted to concentrate on writing on BN rather than on the stuff that was being pumped through my TV.

A Disturbing Tale...

...but what I find nearly as disturbing is that you voluntarily allow stories such as these to be pumped into your head by TV media every day at noon??!

Do yourself a favour. Switch off. How can this be doing your psyche, your spiritual health and well-being, any good whatsoever?

Here's what my former boyfriend called psionics

I apologize for getting in on this so late, but he used to use machinery to accomplish his psionic ends.

You might want to go to this link - and click on the word psionics when you get there - to get his definition of the idea. He writes about it in a series of articles on the subject. (By the way, I don't know why Geocities allows him to continue to post that stuff there.)

Psionics defined
Using the power of your mind to affect the material world. I.e., lifting things with only your mental power, teleporting yourself, reading other people's minds, influencing their thoughts of emotions.
