Malcolm-I fully understand your wife's thinking on this. I have spent what
seemed to be hours solving a computer problem determined to do it myself. I think it works best this way. The next time a glitch occurs, it's easier to solve. But when it's a really tough one, and no easier, the frustration compounds!

Coffee is good but everyone in our house makes better coffee than I do - even the children!

Thanks. Isn't it amazing how we get so worked up over things that really don't matter?

Sounds familiar, malcolm, only in our household, Ell does the electronics.  Me?  I go and have a coffee before she tells me to get lost.

Hi.. I will always remember the day that AOl posted a alert and along with it was a notice that said ' Fix It For Me' all I had to do was click and the problem was solved.  Hope that your enjoying your weekend and nothing will need to be fixed!

I've never been as frustrated as when I tried to fix something in my computer. I was so upset and defeated. Then I was outside with Sam, he was 2 at the time. He was trying something over and over and over. He just didn't quit. He was a great teacher for me that day.

Computers can bring near miraculous changes into one's life but they can also drive a person crazy....when things don't work.
