Mark, a giant menstruating circle?
Wow. Now
that's even scarier. I wonder if Chris has seen your latest creation?

I went into the "Pets" category once.
And what I saw was too despicable to describe. Which is pretty much why Chris2303 no longer writes about four-legged friends, other than in the Sex & Romance category.

And to answer your question: no, Blogit hasn't become a giant sewing circle. More like a giant menstruating circle. And that's just the guys I'm talking about.

Our lives get intertwined with our writing here because we make friends
outside of Blogit...so some of that may be natural. But someone using their blog as a platform to attack someone is cowardice and immature, especially when they had a personal relationship. A grown up handles their business in private instead of gossipping and talking trash, and it's so funny how bloggers just rush in and comment as if they take that word as gospel. There is always another side to the story.

Pooch,
Interesting comments! Bloggers who don't write about other bloggers would be read (and are) regardless. It's the topic. Like, you wouldn't go into the "pets" section looking for bloggers gossiping about other bloggers, ya know? Thanks for the comments!

Spitfire,
If bloggers here didn't write about other bloggers........then other bloggers would not read their blogs. Blogit is a lot like incest. Everything is for other bloggers, not a general, reading public.
Hemingway they ain't. So the shit keeps being turned out.

MayB, right.
That's what I was referring to when it comes to others not even knowing what the writer is talking about. Besides, the circles talking among themselves isolates others.

This place is "which any way the wind blows" anymore
one day you can be on top the next you are shit city, and forget about that commenting and having others click you in return. But I gave up on that a long time ago, now I write and if they read me OK if not that's OK also. Life goes on.

Some days it's more friendly than others depending on whether circles are talking among themselves.

Spitfire....You make good sense here....
and yes, it's hard to keep up with all the writing, commenting and reading, and welcoming new writers, etc. Especially with work, family stuff and the holidays....whoa.....it's a wonder we can do it at all. You're right. It can be tough on here, but not worth crapping about other people here in our posts. I am usually in the dust about arguments going back and forth here. That's where I like to be, settled in the dust, haha. I'm not even sure I made any sense in these comments.
