Unfortunately for us all, RAME, you are most probably correct in your
assessment of our vacation-drunk president. I personally think he's a corporate whore with absolutely no interest in what is best for the United States, except with regard to his pocket-lining. Money buys power and protection and screw all those that have not.

Saul_Relative,
You write a great post! It's too bad that people didn't see Bush for what he is before they voted for him the first time, and then the second time, I just can't imagine what blinders people actually had on. Of course, I couldn't bring myself to vote for Bush or Kerry so I just wrote in Ralph Nader. I voted for Bush the first time because there was no real choice then, either, and almost immediately regretted it. In fact, within days of the oil baron being sworn in, the gas prices started to climb immediately and they show no sign of stopping although it is been reported that the oil companies have made BILLIONS in profits. Bush has had his own agenda and you can bet it wasn't "Iraqi freedom". It was to line his own pockets and those of his family and cronies.
